12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 3/11/22, had 5/15/22.
Pours near black and opaque, with a half inch head of darker foam and some light, foamy lacing. Aromas of bourbon, vanilla, oak, maple, some coffee and chocolate, some cognac, light raisins. The flavors are similar- bourbon, maple, vanilla, malt, coffee as it warms, light chocolate and raisins, light oak, more cognac than the nose. Smooth, a little creamy, a very good lighter full body, well carbonated.
All three barrel residents show well, especially the bourbon. There’s lots of vanilla, and the coffee is effective but was more prominent on draft than in the can. Really enjoyable.
