12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 4/29/22, had 6/5/22.
Pours a darker amber, semi opaque, with a brief head and no real lacing, but a ring of foam that trails down the glass. Aromas of bourbon, caramel, malt, oak, vanilla, some cherry, light plum and brown sugar. Mostly similar flavors- bourbon, caramel, malt, oak, vanilla, some brown sugar, light plum. Smooth, a very good medium body, appropriately carbonated.
Delicious. Excellent barrels with lots of caramel, vanilla and oak. This is a winner every year, no matter what barrels are used.

12oz can
L: brown body, thin head fades to nothing pretty quickly
S: caramel, vanilla, brown sugar, toasty grain, boozy bourbon, oak
T: very complex; brown sugar, caramel, bread crust, grain, vanilla, spice, oak, bourbon
F: fuller body, lower carbonation, boozy and warming, alcohol hot at times but that’s ok
O: anything aged in Willet is a winner for me. This could have used more carbonation, otherwise no complaints from me
