12 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Released 12/9/22, had 12/28/22.
Pours a dark amber, semi opaque, with a one inch quickly dissipating head and light foamy lacing. Aromas of vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, malt, scotch, some orange zest. The scotch barrels lead the way in the flavor, then vanilla, orange zest, cinnamon, caramel, malt. Smooth, a very good lighter medium body, appropriately carbonated.
Has a great combination of add- ins, the vanilla stands out. Tasty barrels, and the cinnamon and zest are strong contributors . Let’s go for the peated barrels next time! This was good, a strong effort.
