12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 1/1/22, had 5/9/22.
Pours a mostly opaque dark cola color, with a quarter inch foamy head and some brief foamy lacing. Aromas of bourbon, oak, vanilla, malt, some chocolate, light char. Similar flavors- bourbon, malt, vanilla, light sherry, light chocolate and oak, some caramel as it warms. Smooth, a very good medium body, appropriately carbonated.
Really good barrels with a solid base. It’s certainly barrel forward. Not quite as good as this year’s variant, but still very enjoyable.
