12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 6/3/22, had 1/10/23.
Pours near black and opaque, with a quarter inch quickly dissipating head of darker foam and light foamy lacing. Aromas of bourbon, roasted malt, oak, vanilla, some chocolate and raisins, light leather and char. Similar flavors: bourbon, roasted malt, oak, chocolate, raisins, some leather, light vanilla. Smooth, a solid full body, appropriately carbonated.
Great barrels and base, lots of aromas and flavors, but overall the chocolate and vanilla don’t show especially well. Still, it’s quite good.
