"Brewed to highlight the best aspects (in our opinion) of Traditional and New England Style IPA/Pale Ales. This beer has low bitterness and a big fruit forward “juicy” hop character like a New England IPA. It also has a little bit of piney hop character and is drier, more drinkable, and refreshing like a traditional IPA."
Their description is pretty close to the result.
A 16oz draft pour into a can glass shows a clear, yellow/gold body and floats a 1/2" cap of tight white bubbles that falls to an edge hugging ring and leaves artistic lacing.
Piney aroma is dominant but there is a slight fruity, maybe apricot, note.
Flavor matches but a citrus note joins the pine resin, with enough malt backing to the piney hops without the heady fullness I get from high IBU beers.
Mouthfeel is sticky, medium-full, and drying.
Overall a really nice beer.

big hoppy taste hop bitter with juicy after taste
