12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 10/27/2023, had 3/13/24.
Pours near black and opaque, with a half inch foamy head and a little foamy lacing. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, oak, some bourbon- a little more as it warms. The bourbon takes the lead in the flavor, then coffee, roasted malt, oak, vanilla, some chocolate. Smooth, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated.
The coffee shows really well and makes this a little better than the straight BA version this year. A solid effort.
