12 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Released 1/1/24, had 3/20/24.
Pours a dark cola color, mostly opaque, with a half inch foamy head and a decent amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of bourbon, vanilla, maple, malt, some oak, light char, light chocolate, a hint of licorice. Flavors of bourbon, vanilla, maple, malt, light chocolate and oak, a little licorice. Smooth, a very good medium body, well carbonated.
Very nice. Has a big bourbon barrel presence. The maple is also there, but the barrels appear to give up a ton of vanilla. This is solid all around. Since the variant this year is coffee & vanilla, it should be interesting to compare the vanilla profile between the two.
