12 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Released 1/1/24, had 4/21/24.
Pours a dark cola color, mostly opaque, with a one inch foamy head and a decent amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of coffee, maple, vanilla, malt, some chocolate, light bourbon and oak. The flavor begins with more of a barrel presence: bourbon, coffee, vanilla, malt, chocolate, some oak, light maple. Smooth, a very good medium body, well carbonated.
Very good aromas and flavors. The coffee shows well, as does the vanilla, but it seems like less of a vanilla note than in the regular BA version. The maple is light, but noticeable. Maybe not quite as good as the regular BA version, but still very enjoyable.
