Our barrel aged versions this year were aged for a full year in 1792 15-year Bourbon barrels. We then finished a portion of this barrel aged batch with real toasted peanuts, Madagascar vanilla beans, and a hint of sea salt.

12 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Released 12/1/23, had 4/22/24.
Pours an orange amber color, fairly clear, with a short, quickly dissipating head and light foamy lacing. Aromas of caramel, malt, peanuts, some vanilla, light bourbon and oak. Has a lightly salty smell. Flavors of caramel, vanilla, bourbon, malt, light salt, a little peanut. Smooth, a good lighter medium body, appropriately carbonated.
Lots of caramel, sufficient barrels, the vanilla shows the best of the add- ins. Very enjoyable.
