Aged 1 year in Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels and Wild Turkey 6 year bourbon barrels, with coffee and hazelnuts.

12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 6/10/23, had 5/10/24.
Pours near black and opaque, with a short head and a few specks of cling. Aromas of coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, bourbon, some oak, light hazelnut, light char. Flavors of coffee, bourbon, roasted malt, some oak and chocolate, light hazelnut and vanilla. Smooth, a very good full body, well carbonated.
The coffee shines, the hazelnuts appear but don’t attract attention. Has a strong and tasty barrel presence to go along with the typically solid base. Very enjoyable.
