12 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Released 4/26/24, had 6/23/24.
Pours a lighter copper amber color, mostly clear, with a half inch foamy head and light foamy lacing. Aromas of caramel, malt, oak, bourbon, some leather, light maple, a little vanilla when warmed. Flavors of bourbon, caramel, oak, malt, some maple- especially in the aftertaste, some leather, a little vanilla. Smooth, a little dry, a very good medium body, appropriately carbonated.
The bourbon barrels stand out, especially the Jeppson’s. The maple is light, but has some impact. The base is pretty solid, as usual. Very enjoyable.
