Released 12/13/24. This version was aged for a year in Applewood Finished Bourbon barrels. The barrels add complexity with notes of vanilla, baking spices, oak, and a hint of apple and tannin from the wood.

12 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Released 12/13/24, had 6/7/25.

Pours a medium orange amber color, somewhat clear, with a quarter inch foamy head and some foamy lacing. Aromas of bourbon, caramel, oak, light apple. Flavors of bourbon, oak, caramel, light vanilla and apple. Smooth, a good but maybe light body for the style, well carbonated.

Barrel, caramel and oak with a little apple thrown in. Wish this annual effort was a little more malt heavy like it used to be earlier on. This is a very light bodied example of the style. Still, it’s well done and tasty.
