2004 vintage. Bottle # 192. It pours black right off and settles a touch darker. The head is at first very bubbly, but settles into a creamy, but very thin, mocha color. The aroma is reminiscent of chocolate and coffee liqueurs. There are also liquor spiked fudge brownie notes. It somehow manages to smell moister than even a liquid should.

Lots of strong bitter coffee in the fore. It isn’t so much thin as it has a very watery taste through the middle. Some milk and black chocolate also make a play and the finish is somewhat burnt/coffee bitter with a faint touch of booziness. Curious for a 6% abv beer.
