Had this beer at the brewery from tap. Clear dark brown color with good beige head and lacing. Smell and taste of dark chocolate and toast. Good feel. Went well with the scotch egg and shrimp chowder!

Draught @ Brewery: This one pours a dark opaque brown color. There was a thin tan head that left a little lacing. Nice nose! Some chocolate, faint roastiness. Some earthy notes. The flavor is nice. Some chocolate and roastiness. Earthy and malty. No sweetness, a touch bitter and well balanced.

Poured a jet-black color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of chocolate, roasted malt and toffee. Sweet caramel and malt flavor with hint of dark chocolate & roastiness.
