Aged in a charred oak barrel that previously contained Imperial stout, and whiskey before that. Subtle notes of vanilla, oak, & whiskey.

Draught @ Brewery. This one pours an opaque, dark brown color. It had a wisp of a tan head on it. It has a good nose. Malts, nuttiness, bit of biscuit, a touch of bourbon. The taste is very good. It is a touch sweet. Caramel malts, biscuit, a touch of fruit and a light nuttiness. A faint touch of the bourbon. Nice.
