Yellow to golden depending on if it's white or yellow light. Lemonade, or tropical punch. A dirty looking haze at first, but then when I emptied the can, attractive swirls of sediment, and a deepening of the color, that improved the appearance. A rather strong head, nearly 4 fingers from a hard pout, becoming chunky and retentive as it recedes.

Banana and spice, mainly cloves, with light blackberry.

Tart wheat with banana and clove. Fruity blackberry in the back on the aftertaste.

Medium in body with a nice bite. Numbing and drying

A good beer. Not spectacular, but different. And I'm a fan of variety, so it suits me.

Poured from the can into a Hoegaarden tumbler.

Pale golden yellow, almost brass but with a faint purple hue coming out of the can. Gusher on the open, of a big foamy fistfull head that gets a little out of control. While able to be tamed, it has big IPA like retention and a bubbly top that doesn’t budge. Large amounts of carbonation as well.

Aptly named for the aroma. Slight candy Belgian sensing sugar with a mountain/blackberry like fruit quality on the nose. Muted lemon and perhaps a touch of wheat density coming through and all nicely balanced. Quite pleasant so far.

Palate is kind of unexpected but tolerable. Grainy and slightly bitter fronted hop mouthfeel with an indistinct sort of pine like bitterness. Finishes with a hint of tart berry fruit which is quite nice. Decent body and supportive, but not much adding wheat flavor or sweetness in the mix. Slightly flour and grain malt finish, and missing the sort of light sugar and fruit quality of a witbier.

A drinkable interesting take on a witbier, but sort of goes in a bit of unexpected direction.

Just...no. This was the worst craft brew I've ever had, still better than some AALs but just..no. Had it during a brewery tour, poured from tap. Most of the tour did not like this beer, kind of a love it or hate it beer. Sour but not sour in a pleasing way. Will never have this again.
