A: golden yellow with a short lived white head that leaves a nice ring of head around the glass.
S: malty and bitter hoppy. A little bit of some sort of tropical fruit.
T: bitter and pithy. Finishes with a nice mango flavor. Enough malt to make it nice but the west coast hops are what shine through.
M: medium bodied.
O: solid IPA, above average but nowhere near my top 10 best IPAs.

Opaque and pulpy; pop that Goya can. Looks like staight mango nectar. If that's your thing, you'll think it's lovely. I like a bit more head and some clarity. Surprisingly, the smell and taste are not totally dominated by the fruit. You actually have much more of a bitter hop presence than expected. In the finish, the bitterness becomes a bit too agressive. Surprisingly dry for so much fibrous haze.

Reviewed from the can. Not the bomber. I believed they took a different approach to the mango infusion in this batch.
Pours a hazy golden orange. Thin off white head. I can see some mango pulp in suspension.
Smell is MANGO! Big time mango. Tropical fruits abound. Nice orange and pine resin round out the back end. Some sweetness detected. Slight crackery malt smell as well...
Taste is tropical fruit and pith bitterness. The malt sweetness plays off as residual fruit sugars in the back ground. And odd astringent character is also present in an odd sort of way. Good flavor, but for my taste I would prefer the pithy bitterness not linger as long.
Mouthfeel is attenuated and dry, great lingering tropical flavors, but the bitterness lingers and acts as a drying factor on the mouthfeel.
Overall a very good beer. My only major complaint is the slight drying on the back end. Both in flavor and mouthfeel.

Appearance - The beer was a bright orange color with a fluffy white head.
Smell - The hops seem more sweet than resiny in the aroma. I further notice the hints of mango.
Taste - In the initial taste, the hops blend well with the mango edge. The fruitiness of the mango smooths the hops, but does not make it overly sweet. The hops are most bitter in the aftertaste, which leads to the bitter finish.
Mouthfeel - The carbonation is not overly aggressive. It lends itself well to allowing the fruitiness to meditate on your tongue.
Overall - I appreciate this angle on the style.
