Appearance - On Tap, the beer bour a dark brown color with an off white head.
Smell - The sweet nose had accents of banana and sweet malts.
Mouthfeel - The beer had an inital taste of caramelly malts. The sweeetness was balanced and not overly cloying. Notes of nuts and estery characteristics. Sweetness lingers in the finish.
Mouthfeel - The viscosity and low carbonation allows the sweetness to linger. It created a chewy impression.
Overall - Four Fathers has found their wheelhouse in dark beers.
