From Tavour, Seattle, WA. Reviewed 11/2/18.
Undated 500 mL bottle stored at 42 degrees and served at 42 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter.
Appearance – 4.
Body – Amber, opaque. When held to the light, becomes slightly translucent. Looks like apple cider.
Head – Head average (Maximum 2.2 cm, aggressive center pour), dense, antique white, good retention, slooowly diminishing to a five mm ring and a half rocky, half thin layer.
Lacing – Excellent. Wide bands of tiny bubbles, connected by thin columns.
First pour – Medium yellow, hazy.
Aroma – 4.25 – Grapefruit, rye. Weakens over time.
Flavor – 4.25 – Very pleasing! Grapefruit and rye spiciness, but slightly weaker than the nose suggested. Leaves a moderately bitter aftertaste. No alcohol (8.7% ABV), no diacetyl, no dimethylsulfide.
Palate – 3 – Medium, watery, lively carbonation.
Impression and interpretation – 4 – A very nice rye IPA.

Poured from a growler received from @bigreddog
A: beautiful golden orange slightly hazy body. Thick full head. Sheets of lacing
B: smells of sweet citrus ooze from the glass
T: tangerine Ghana some hints of rind and pine balanced by the peppery bite of the eye.
MF: oily bitter devoid of alcohol burn even though it is almost 9%
O: tremendous DIPA with great usage of the rye. Just learned of this brewery and I want more.

A new one on tap for the first time at the brewery served in a tulip glass.
Look- A dark hazy reddish-gold with a finger of off white foam that quickly settles.
Smell- Dank tropical fruit including passionfruit, pineapple, guava and everything under the sun. A hint of fresh rubber in the back.
Taste- Passionfruit up front followed by pineapple, guava, mango, and some rye spiciness in the finish. Huge flavor!
Feel- Oily, resiny, slick and hint of spice.
Overall- I've had hit or miss experiences with this brewery and this is a huge hit. This is hands down one of the top DIPA's of the region in my opinion. Loaded with dank tropical flavor and just the right amount of rye spice. Yes, I said it, go get you some! I'm hoping this becomes part of the rotation and makes its way into packaging to share outside the state.
