Picked up in Ontario, canned 2022/03/11
Pours a frothy foamy 1 finger tan head with moderate retention, fair messy lacing, dark brownish black color
Nose is pretty nice, mild roast with a bit of cocoa, biscuity brown malts, mild baking spices, cocoa leads to a mild sweet mocha, very light earthy hop
Taste brings some roast again but not a lot, cocoa, dark chocolate, into some mocha, baking spice, little coffee, mild earthy spicy hop, semi sweet chocolate with mild nutty notes and a little sweet dark bread, very faint metallic note, some roast and bitter spicy hop lingering on the dry finish, more roast and coffee lingering, as well as chocolate
Mouth is med bod, a touch of a soft lager note, med frothy carb
Overall not bad
