Appearance - The beer poured a murky brown color with an off-white head.
Smell - Sweet candy sugar overwhelmed the light banana notes.
Taste - Holy Holidays, this beer was a mug full of sweet dark fruits. Candy sugar and molasses were also present. The beer was sweet, but not cloying. There was nothing abrasive about the beer, even as it carried to the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - The stickiness allows the sweetness to linger, but it never grew tiresome.
Overall - This beer was a nice surprise from Four Fathers since it is outside their comfort zone of IPAs and stouts.
