Deep dark brown color. Some light passes along the edges. Moderate head with only a few streaks for lace.
Nice darker crystal and black patent malt aroma. Mocha and ash are most present.
The body is a bit thin for a Porter but the carbonation is appropriate. The flavor starts mild with chocolate malt notes. The swallow draws out more bitter elements like black patent malt and neutral bittering hop. Long coffee like aftertaste.
