A Burton style Bitter.
Hazy amber to brown color. Little head and no lace.
Strong dirt smell to the nose.
Watery feel due to the low carbonation. The body is okay for the style and the bubbles are lower than most (already lowly effervescent) Burtons. The taste is also earthy. There's a lager presence of hop bitterness, particularly in the swallow. The aftertaste is a blend of these predominant flavors. Overall, not one of my favorites.
