Poured into a stemless tiki shaped glass, pours a very attractive slightly cloudy dark orange with a solid finger plus sticky white head that leaves a big ring of lace, with nice retention. 4
Smell is herbal earthy hops, tangerine, pineapple, and a little grapefruit rind. 4
Taste follows herbal, biscuit, tangerine, caramel, pineapple, and just a little hit of grapefruit. 4
Mouthfeel is about medium, slightly dry, plenty of life, and very crushable at 5.2%, but drinks more like 6.5%. 4
Overall this is nice, my wife grabbed this on her own when she was in Boston and I really think it is pretty tasty. 4

On draft at the brewpub, in nonic pint glass
Hazy, opaque dark golden. White head, good lacing. Fruity aroma leans citrus and a bit of pine under there. Similar flavor, moderately bitter. Fuller mouth feel.

This was terrible. Like the comet citra, the taste of a musty hop storage room is overwhelming. The taste and feel were just not at all pleasing. If you like the taste of old library books and the sour tingly feeling you get after eating sour candy, this is one for you. If not move along.
