Dark brown color where no light passes through the edge of the glass. Nearly no head from the bar pour. That said, there's no lace whatsoever
Coffee dominates the smell. No cream.
The flavor is slightly lighter with the coffee not quite as distinctive but still strong. The body leans thin which is accentuated by the higher carbonation. The bitterness seems to come completely from the darker malt. Relatively short aftertaste.
