12 oz can poured into a pub-style pint.
Appearance
Golden amber. 1 finger of loose head. Decent clarity. Light carbonation.
Nose
Biscuit, toast, caramel, and brown sugar.
Taste
Biscuit, toasted grains, and caramel. Slight brown sugar. Light herbal hoppiness. Some soapiness lingers.
Mouthfeel
Medium bodied, crisp, off-dry, and moderately bitter.
Overall
Perhaps it's the wrong season, or this is not a great Oktoberfest...

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a bronze color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, malts, some pine. Taste is of caramel malts, light pine, a bit hoppy for the style. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall, their website describes it as an Oktoberfest with American hops, and that is accurate. It's decent, but the flavors aren't blending completely.
