black in color, tan colored head. aroma is a nice roasty mix of dark chocolate and coffee. similar taste, fairly bold in flavor, I am a fan. smoother bodied, fuller bodied.

 

Poured from undated can into a shaker glass. It is dark cola in color and sports almost a finger cap of creamy, light khaki foam and thin film of lacing. The nose offers sweet malt with notes of caramel, molasses, and nuts. There isn't much sweetness in the taste, however; mostly roasted malt, bakers chocolate, burnt acidic coffee, and nutty char with a slight hint of caramel. It has a fairly creamy mouth feel with low carbonation, and it is very drinkable at 6.9% ABV. Overall, this is a solid American Porter but to call it "Mesmerizing" is a stretch.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a black color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of roasted malts, chocolate. Taste is the same as the aroma, light smoke is present. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.
