8/28/22, Jake and Amy's wedding day!
At the brewery in Pittsburgh, Millvale.
Beautiful coppery red. Sweet malt aromas and a light head that remained. Crisp, yet buttery in the mouth. Slight caramel and toffee notes.

A red IPA - nice and hoppy. Pours a red-brown color with a strong head and lacing that lasts. Carmel flavor from the malts comes through with a strength that is appropriate for the beer. If you like a hoppy red, this is a great one.

This is everything I love in an American Red Ale ! Malty, full of the Big C's ! Quite possibly one of my favorite beers !

Poured from tap into a tulip glass.
Look = deep amber red
Smell = strong pine and citrus
Taste = upfront hops with some malt to balance
Feel = medium to heavy body and carbonation
I liked the taste of the beer, but I did not like the lingering flavor and after-taste. It is described as easy to drink, but I found it difficult to finish the glass. It delivers hops, but I wish it had a cleaner finish. I look forward to trying the other beers the Grist House has to offer.

Had this on 2014-11-28 in Pittsbugh, PA at Carson Street Deli.
Deliciou balance of caramel apple cider malt and moderate citrus hop bitterness. Want more of this.
