Pours jet black with a tan film for a head.
Smells a bit smokey with hints of coffee and cocoa.
Flavor is of crisply toasted bread, cocoa, and caramel malts.
Light body with a tingly carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
Decent chocolate porter, a bit watery in the mouthfeel and a little too subdued in the taste and aroma. This feels like a good beer got watered down just a bit, it just needs to be turned up a notch or two.
