This beer pays great homage to the Galaxy hop! This beer carefully balances hoppiness and sweetness, without being overly syrupy. One of my favorite Double IPAs!

Poured from tap in large tulip glass at brewery. White somewhat lacy head. Cloudy bright amber with honey yellow tint. A little shocking was the vibrancy of the color - almost exciting. Subtle aromas of fruit and citrus hops. Complex taste but all well balance - Delicious and extremely Drinkable. Added benefit: since I had a six pack of 64 ounce growlers the bartender let me have a growler, even though they don't normally sell growlers of this beer because of the high demand at the bar. Grist House hit it out of the park with this beer!

Pours a deep golden color with a white head and some lacing. The aroma had big time tropical fruits and resin. Pineapple, mango, grapefruit and orange all day in the aroma. In the taste, more of the same, which is awesome. Orange citrus, pineapple and papaya go along with an earthy bitterness and pine sap note. Slight resin touch, again, this is a pretty "dank" IPA. Hoppy, strong and extremely drinkable. A solid example of the style.

Pours a deep, clear honey gold with an eggshell head.
Smells of honey and fresh fruity hops.
Flavor is of honey and bready malts with fruity floral hops, very distinct range of hop flavors.
Medium body with a tingly carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
This is a very good DIPA and very tasty, perhaps my favorite from Grist House so far and definitely worth trying. It's only just shy of being a top shelf DIPA but fall a bit short of some of something like a Hopslam or Dirt Wolf. It would definitely cull a craving for a good fruity hopped DIPA though.
