Thanks to Pinz412 for this one, from one of his boxes in NBS BIF #13. 16oz can (no date, but a QR code. Fuck that!) poured into 14oz teku. poured a bright, clean, clear golden yellow color with 1-1/2 inches of white head that had very good retention and lacing.
The aroma was as expected, nice, solid, earthy grains, and gentle, grassy/floral hops.
Very similar on the tongue, with the grain being forward and the hops adding nuance on the edges.
The body was smooth, maybe a bit fuller than is the norm, and had a sweeter than usual finish.
Drinkability was very good, I could easily drain a few of these on a sailboat out on Bellingham bay.
Overall, a very nice brew. Maybe not as crisp as I'm used to in the style, but still a very nice brew. certainly worth trying if you see it.
