Can acquired from Homebrew Con Pittsburgh. No can date
Pours a fizzy bubbly 1/2 finger head with med to lower retention, little lacing, crystal clear med golden straw color
Nose nice grainy cereal malt forward aroma, straw, little bready doughy pilsner, light herbal floral hops
Taste brings more cereal grain up front, very rich cereal and straw more so than I expected, bready, little corn pilsner malt, malt cereal like I'm chewing on raw pilsner malt, light herbal hop with a touch of bitterness, clean fermentation, dry finish with med hop bitterness getting a touch spicy but mostly herbal and little floral
Mouth is med bod, a little lagered softness, med carb
Overall solid kolsch, clean a bit crisp, big rich malt that even goes a bit overboard, good hop level, enjoyable
