I tried this at the brewery in Indianapolis. It was a decent offering nothing that would knock your sox off. The pretzel bites were awesome and come highly recommended.

Tiny head, but a fine layer of bubbles stays throughout the tasting. The lace is a cross between spots and streaks, initially; nothing later in the tasting. The color is amber. Nearly clear.
The smell reminds me of Play-Doh. Some mild, neutral hop in the background.
Toffee like malt start. The hop is strong, but not overwhelming in the swallow. The aftertaste is well balanced with both of these elements. Rich body with a muted carbonation level. Easty to drink, but unremarkable

Midwest IPA pours a nice brown amber into the glass from a can. Definitely some crystal malt at work. Taste is citrusy and sweet marmalade bread. An IPA with a ramped down bitterness and big malt presence.

I've had this several times straight from the can, tonight I poured it into a pint glass to see what's what...
L - A nice dark brown honey / bronze color.
S - This doesn't really have a strong scent. Faint IPA-ish smell, like someone next door just cracked open a can and the breeze blew it to you.
T - First, let me say that I am a stout drinker, and though I can respect the whole IPA / PA movement, there are very few that I find drinkable. This one, however, I thought had a nice, solid taste, like an IPA with out the overpowering grape-fruity bitterness. Slightly fruity with just the hint of a tangy bite.
F - Fairly average feel, like a mostly flat soda (but not in a bad way). Gets pleasantly creamy/fizzy if you swish it around a bit.
O - Like I noted above, I don't drink a whole lot of pale ales, but I do enjoy this one and drink it every now and then when I want that pale ale experience. It's local to me (Indianapolis) so I enjoy contributing to the local breweries.

Sweet/Tangy fruit. Maybe an old can? Look is dark and malty. Musky. Not much hop on the nose. The taste is smooth. Much better than the nose. I get the hops in the taste and a nice malt. The mouthfeel is quite good with a small amount of heat in the chest but not much going down. The more I let this one warm the better the profile gets but the nose is lacking. Weird for a Pale Ale. You can usually smell the Ale and get the qualities from that and it comes through the taste. Not this one. I keep reaching for another sip. Pretty good, nothing great. I wouldn't really go after this again but it isn't a bad brew.

This beer is pretty properly rated in my opinion. Had this on tap at the pint room. Color is a lighter copper, little light for an IPA. The nose was weak and a little dank. Flavor had slight citrus, but not a ton. Real easy mouthfeel. Nothing about this beer tips off the relatively high alcohol content. Pretty average
