Reviewing on release day. Wanted to love this beer as I generally dig what PK is rolling out. However this beer is below their generally solid performance. Medium dark brown with minimal head. Nose is off-putting, boozy and perhaps phenol? Flavor is better than the nose, but not great. Chocolate notes with oatmeal and black walnut flavors. Finish is anti-climatic.
