Draft from a crowler filled the day before. Very roasty, bitter dark chocolate, black licorice, vinous tannins. Strong and in your face, the mild astringency may not be for everyone, but at least this stands out as an RIS among a crowded field of 10-12% ABV stouts these days. Very smooth mouthfeel.
