No bottling date listed but picked up at the brewery 8/8 and consumed 8/10.
I love my hoppy lagers/IPLs and tried this on a whim at a brewery I've never been to and love it! The color is odd but is supposed to be part of the appeal with the "touch of flesh and blood" I'm assuming? It has a slight red/brown hue like a lighter red ale. Mouthfeel is smoother and creamier than a typical pilsner but it's still crisp enough to be enjoyable on a hot day. There's just a bit of a hop bite on the end to keep it interesting in the way that my favorite hoppy lagers play. A fun new beer and I'll be back at the brewery again someday for that amazing burger and more brews.
