Purchased on-tap at the brewery itself last night for $6.00. Poured into a mug pint glass.
L - Pours a nearly jet black, with a brown hue outlining it. Topped with a foamy two-finger tan head. Laces well. Head remains the entire session.
S - Roasted dark chocolate, black bread, and earth.
T - Follows nose. On the bitter end of the spectrum, but not overwhelming - it adds to it! Finish is dry earth.
F - Medium-bodied, with medium carbonation. Refreshing, and easy-to-drink.
O - I would say this is "the bar" for the style. Pretty good all-around, but nothing too amazing. Hit the spot on a cold night like last night. I'd get it again.
