Brewed in Hawaii but made in the Germanic style, Aloha brewers seem to have a propensity for liederhosen and oompah bands.
Pouring a bright and bubbly gold, Queen Street is a beer-flavored beer that starts out with a pleasantly floral, fruity and grainy-sweet scent with hints of green herbs. Sweet with freshly dried malt, the early impressions of light bread, cereal and honeysuckle make their way onto the early palate.
As the flavors evolve, the sweetness dries and the hops grow into a spicy bitterness to offset what’s left of malt. Hints of apple and lemon bring out the hop’s more tea-like flavors while hints of parsley, fresh grass clippings and mint frame a late taste for that quintessential clean bitterness to close.
Light, crisp and refreshing, the beer may lack in complexity but it earns praise in its refreshment and drinkability as it flows into a quick aftertaste of herbal hops and fading grain once more.

From the tap, it pours a golden color with a nice white head that slowly diminishes and leaves lacing. The nose gets some crackers, pine and grass. The mouth gets a pilsner bitterness followed by malt. I like it!

Bready and malty, but with a nice balance. Very little hop expression. Toasty, with a very grainy, crackers finish. Just a drop of honey; no citrus, but a touch of pine and bark.
Overall, a good pils and an enjoyable modest ABV brew.
