Our lightest and most refreshing ale, and also the most popular beer since our opening in 1997. Crisp and clean with a very delicate hop profile, Big Aloha Blonde is a very pale, light-bodied ale that is perfectly suited to Hawaii’s warm tropical climate.

A finger's worth of foamy, bone-white head with good retention. Nose had a slight tartness. Color was a lemon yellow with NE-quality clarity. Mouthfeel was medium with a slight lemony sourness on the tongue. Finish had a lemony taste that put me in mind of lemon pound cake or cheesecake infused with lemon juice. How odd. Not bad, not good, just different.
