Unfiltered IPA with bold flavors of pine and woodsy characteristics, followed by notes of wild berries and subtle apricot and peach. Complemented by a dry finish.

From the small can, it pours a hazy amber color with a modest white head that reduces and leaves some lacing. The nose gets some grapefruit and light malt. The mouth follows with a slightly sourish citrusy brew that leaves a mild aftertaste.

Pours an opaque bronze. Small white head that has decent retention. A very pretty beer to look at.
Aroma of grapefruit, brown fruit, pine
Taste of grapefruit, malt. Seems to be lacking a taste identity.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and lightly cleansing.
Overall, a decent enough brew. Worth a try.

Taking the stroll to the top of all these Oahu ridge tops can take a toll on the thirst. And that’s why Aloha Beer exists- to quench the thrust with a splash of fruity hops and a crisp, clean body. Such are the dreams of hikers.
Hazy amber-rust in color, the frothy ale comes with a perfumy fruit scent that circulates around tropical, citrus, berry and stone fruit character. Supple and sweet, a sense of honey pulls from the grain while also providing hints of cereal, caramel and toasted pastry.
As the hops unfold on the middle palate, they do so with a starburst of stone fruit flavors- peach, apricot and plum give a rounded juiciness with a backdrop of red grapefruit, pineapple, mango, orange and currant. Trending softly herbal, the hops develop into a moderately bitter finish of spruce tip, citrus peel, balsa woods, hemp and tea leaf.
Medium bodied and trending lighter and drier than most hazy ale, the IPA finishes slightly more bitter than bitter-sweet and with a malty-dry toast character that extends moderately on the after palate.

Smell of pine, citrus
Hazy amber-golden color
Medium mouthfeel
Medium-high carbonation
Taste of pine, grapefruit, apricot, some bitterness finish
Overall a good beer. The bitterness helps it from becoming too juicy like most NE IPA. More like a mixture between the styles. Freshness probably helps it a lot.
