Interesting taste... more tangy than I was expecting and a bit vegetal on the backend. Not as refreshing as I had hoped but decent on a warm day. Good mouth feel.

Having this one from a can, locally to the brewery.
Pours with little head that dissipates quickly.
A lighter bodied beer. Hazy light amber/ straw color. Flavor is mild but very pleasant. It is lightly sweet and yeasty. Apparently unfiltered, based on the residual yeast in the bottom of the can. Banana, bubblegum flavors dominate, subtle clove and coriander hints complement. Enjoying this one with some other beer lovers, it was a hit.

a low key witbier thats wheaty and not overly yeasty but still defined by its ester profile, flavorful and perhaps a little more hearty and dense than the best of these, but its still a drinker, zesty and bright, summery in flavor but versatile still too to me, not epic, but nice as a vacation pint for sure. golden more that whitewashed and pale, even into the light orange range in color, and with a short and rapidly fading white head, not as hazy as a lot of these but not fully clear either, definitely appears a bit richer than is common. a bit sweet and nutty in the nose with juicy citrus character right there too, light spiciness from the yeast but also notes of cooked pear and apple, trace butterscotch, and even apricot, a fair bit happening here. then in the flavor is sweet orange and earthy wheat together, a light lemongrass note from somewhere gives it an island vibe, but its definitely got some body slowing it a little, and the carbonation isnt great. the flavor here is good, balanced, decidedly belgian, short of phenolic but on its way, distinctive even with the heavier wheat, but i want this style to refresh, dance on the palate, and never fill me up or tire me out, and this one doesnt really get anywhere near that, despite being a beer id still rip a few of. better than their blonde, nowhere near as good as their black pils, and really not a great example of a true wit.
