On tap at Sam Choys in Honolulu, HI.
Poured a deeper and cloudy yellow color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of bananas, cloves and lemons (served with a lemon slice - I wish they'd ask first!). Tastes of bananas, cloves, citrus, and some wheat.

Poured a cloudy pale gold, with little head and no retention. Smelled weird -- like artificial citrus perfume, and this is with no lemon slice on there. Tasted okay -- a lot of orange, and no real banana -- more like a wit than a hefe. Had a more full body than many wheat beers, and it goes down easy enough, but I probably wouldn't try another.

Let me start with a pet peeve...they served the beer with a lemon wedge already in the beer! For a brewpub, this is sacrilege. I occassionally drink a Hef with a lemon, but much better to start off without it to a clear picture of the beer.
Appearance was cloudy and a darker yellow than most beers of this style. Small head with little lacing. Low carbonation.
I couldn't get much out of the aroma. The taste had a light banana flavor and very faint cloves. There was also a "perfumy" taste that didn't work.
A nice light mouthfeel. Overall, not a great Hef. There are better beers here and more in line with the style.

Cloudy yellowish beige color, thin lacing. Aroma of fermented wheat, this is most of the flavor as well ... tangy fermented wheat. Hard to find the banana and/or clove character. Fresh and malty but seemed to be missing a hard mark of what a traditional hefe weizen tastes like.
