Kudu Coffee & Craft Beer

 

 

This is a coffee shop with a tiny bar in it that has maybe 3-4 seats. There was a chalkboard with 6 or so taps listed and a cask. These weren't too interesting so I passed on a beer. At the register there was a paper beer list which had a few more beers on it, but I didn't see 20 drafts listed. Maybe it was double-sided? Maybe the chalkboard were only to-go growler beers? Anyway, I was disappointed to have missed some of the gems listed on their website currently. They need a clearer beer list on-site. Oh well, the coffee was good. Pretty standard café vibe, lots of college kids hanging out. Stopped here twice for coffee as it was in a convenient location.

 

A coffee/tap beer house. Small and cozy, good music, above decent, if limited, selection of 20 beers on tap, including BCBS and a Maine offering, with some locals. Service was good. Recommend it, especially for an afternoon/early evening beverage.

Twenty-two beers on tap including a cask. Coffee shop vibe with a small separate bar area. Great little place across from the Citadel and Marion Square. My wife's favorite coffee shop in town (and I can get a fresh local beer on tap!).

 

 

 

 

 

best part about this place is the Italian style cappuccino - world class

Cool coffee shop in Downtown Charleston. Also has a growler station or you can simply snag a glass of some local brew and watch the young college girls get coffee. Not a bad way to enjoy a beer, and if your girl is with you she can enjoy some coffee. Overall pretty great place.
