1797. An early heavy snow stops the hunters from returning home. Madawaska is in the throes of a famine. Tante Blanche will save her colony by ordering the rich to share their food with the poor. Not unlike our old Aunt, this white beer is mellow...with a bit of bite.

A Belgian-style white beer with a delicately balanced nose hinting of citrus and coriander with a discreet spicy ending. Dense, white foamy head crowns this refreshing witbier made with natural ingredients and brewed with pure Edmundston water.

A bottle at the Boston Pizza in Edmundston. Hazy gold with a modest head. Some vanilla with wheat on the nose. Body is all wheat with a spicy clove finish. A witbier with some bite indeed.

A- Slightly hazy golden yellow. 1 1/2 finger white head with decent retention.

S- Orange peel, bread, and a slight hoppiness.

T- Classic orange peel/coriander combination with a nice bready malt backing. A subtle, lemony hop finish that goes extremely well with the rest of the flavour profile. Easily the hoppiest tasting witbier that I've had to date but I quite like it.

M- Light body and medium carbonation. Refreshing, like a witbier should be.

O- Awesome beer and specifically, a great Witbier. Looking forward to seeing more from Brasseurs du Petit-Sault in the future!

This belgian influenced white is going to be a flagship for this brewery. A nice straw colour with a perfect wheat haze, best served very cold. The bouquet is quite complex with floral, citrus, hoppy and malty aromas swirling around the lip of the tulip glass.

The first taste that come to the palate is a fruity apricot flavour followed by a hint of hops rounded out by a spicy/peppery back of the throat taste that enchants the senses and invites the drinker to take the next sip.
