This microbrewed beer at the BOB says smoky on the handle and that intrigued me. I was hoping for a rauchbier style brew, but alas this is the BOB and rauchbier would probably be way too ballsy. As it is, this is a decent beer with a smoky edge to it. It's nice and dark woody color with a medium tan head. This beer is a little too simple in the end. Slightly sweet but not much of an alcohol flavor. Toasty finish along with some more slight smokiness. The smoke is withdrawn but a nice compliment all in all. This is probably one of the better beers at the BOB.
