Medium black color leaning towards dark red at times. Nice tan head goes down rather quickly. Decent lacing. Aroma is of roasted chocolate and cream. This is a smooth beer and has all the normal porter characteristics. Solid down the line, no real off flavors but nothing that wows me either. Bittersweet chocolate, roasted malts, good body, and a bit of an oily hop finish. It goes down rather easily. Probably my favorite beer at the B.O.B., worth a try for sure.
