Had this on tap during lunch. Comes with a hazy amber brown color and a nice sized creamy tan head. Good amount of bubbles to the top, lacing is spotty. Looks nice. Aroma is very nondescript with caramel and a slight nuttyness, but that's about it. Taste is also boring. No real dunkel flavors to help this beer stand apart. A bit of caramel and a bit of a bready nutty character which I'm sure is from the yeast but its not too special of a flavor. Mouthfeel is nice with a smoothness and liveliness to it but the flavors are not there. This was easy to drink but not really enjoyable.

Sampled on 7/17/2005 and was told that this was brewed there. Pour is of a cloudy muddy hazy brown, okay for style. It carried a small brownish head, could have been bigger. Nose was yeaty, okay, with hints of caramel, also okay. Flavor is also caramelly, somewhat light followed by some roastiness. Finish is of medium length and sweet.
