This could be an Irish Dry Stout as well but I'll stick with American as its already been listed as such. No nitro which is nice. Still dark black with a medium creamy tan head. Good retention. Smells of roasted black malts, espresso, and charcoal. This beer has a really nice roasted flavor and a good thick body. More of a sipper but I don't think the abv is too high. A bit of cream in the middle along with some hop elements here and there. Finish is drying and a tad acidic then chocolate. Really nice, one of the best beers the BOB has to offer.
