definitely my least favorite beer i have had from these guys, and really the only one i can ever remember having that has any kind of flaw at all. it has that off flavor that comes from a messed up yeast started, that sharp acrid bitter weird flavor that usually requires a batch be dumped. i dont know if this was a fail on the wit, and they added the tea to try to save it, or what happened, but despite the parts i like, this is a weak offering, and not a good sign of what these guys are capable of. nice look though, soapy white head on a just cloudy pale yellow liquid. smells like the teat first, herbal and breakfasty, ginseng and lavender notes from it, but the sharpness from the yeast comes in too soon and takes over before i can enjoy it. vanilla and detergent is how it finishes, and it sits weird in the stomach. the concept rules, but something is off with the yeast, and this was a long lingering miss for me. they should let it rip again though, the earl grey tea would work really well with a good wit, and i know they can make this work.
